        Rice Bowls are a quick and nutritious meal providing a serving of whole grains, vegetables and lean protein that children love. They are easy to plan, prepare and serve.
Thai Rice Bowl with Soy Nut Butter Sauce
- The perfect foundation: Brown Rice
Start with ½- 1 cup cooked brown rice 
- The middle layer: Colorful Vegetables (red & yellow peppers, broccoli, snap peas)
Start with ½ cup lightly steamed fresh or frozen vegetables (select your variety) 
- The top layer: Lean Protein (chicken, beef, seafood or tofu)
Top your rice bowl with your choice of protein. 
Finishing touches...Sauce & Garnish (bean sprouts & grated carrots)
Soy Nut Sauce
	- ½ cup Water
 
	- 1/3 cup Soy Nut Butter**
 
	- 1 tsp Minced Garlic
 
	- 1 TBSP Brown Sugar
 
	- 1/8 tsp Crushed Red Pepper (optional)
 
	- 1 ½ tsp Soy Sauce
 
	- ¾ tsp Lemon Juice
 
In medium saucepan over medium heat, combine water, garlic and soy nut butter and cook until mixture comes to a boil & thickens. Remove from heat & stir in remaining ingredients. Cool and serve.
